    Maybe there are many local places around that do Nintendo Switch repairs, but if there are, not many come up on google search. I think I found this place on Kijiji. They're located in the Asian mall off Dixie and Eg.

    I've been twice to bring in my son's Switch in the last few months for unrelated repairs. In both cases - the console not charging and later it wasn't reading game cartridges - they repaired it within a day or two for somewhere around $30-40. The first time required a part I believe. Certainly much cheaper and faster than if you were to ship it to Nintendo to have it done.

    As their name indicates, they're mostly about phones and they also sell refurbished ones, but I'm glad that they also do game console repairs too.

    The first part of my experience was wonderful. He was the savvy salesman who said everything right. But if anything happens to your phone, he will absolve himself of all responsibility.

    Me and 3 other friends have had the same experience with him until we all learned about it later.  He sold me a used phone as a brand new one, charged me top dollar for it and I found other peoples information and pictures of their babies on it. He promises a 15 day warranty from the store but when I went back, he accused me of having bought it cheaper and looking for ways to return the phone. The rudest person i have ever dealt with. If anythign he has no sense of how to speak to anyone at all as he dealt with another person the same way while I stood in line waiting.

    He also has an EBAY store and my friend had the same experience with him.
